There are many other longer walks that also have a guide book or map and can take you to new parts of the Yorkshire Dales. These include the Lady Anne’s Way, the Inn Way to the Yorkshire Dales, and the Herriot Way. Further information can be found on the following websites:
Lady Anne's Way
A 100 mile route from Skipton to Penrith.The Yorkshire Dales Inn Way
A circular 76 mile walk starting and ending in Grassington.The Herriot Way
A 52 mile circular walk in Wensleydale and Swaledale.The Dales High Way
An exhilarating 90 mile walk across glorious high country including the Yorkshire Dales. It takes you from the World Heritage Site on Saltaire across the Dales, and on to Appleby-in-Westmorland. An excellent map and companion guide is available.The Way of the Roses
